On November 29, 2013 (Friday), the graduating ceremony of this academic year’s “Course for study in Japan” was held at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The course has been operated in collaboration with that university. From us (IEEF), Horie, Yoshizawa, and Okuda were present, and as a representative of the university, a vice president attended the ceremony. Furthermore, from PLUS Vietnam Industrial Company Limited, its president Yasuo Kakusaka attended it, and bestowed words of encouragement and congratulations on the graduates. This company, which is a Japanese big manufacturer of stationeries in Vietnam, has kindly donated this course.
For three months since September, three times per week, and three hours lectures per day had been held. In addition, every piece of the given homework required the same time or more, so the Japanese language ability of the students has been certainly much more enhanced, than at the time of their entrance. As a result, except for the students, who have changed their career plans in the middle of the course under the guidance of the faculty (Japanese and Vietnamese members), all of the rest became capable of realizing study in Japan.
