Toward the Establishment of [SUPPORT OFFICE for STUDY in JAPAN] at Ho Chi Minh City, University of Social Sciences and Humanities

On November 28, 2013 (Thursday), at Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City, University of Social Social Sciences and Humanities.

The three directors of IEEF – Horie, Yoshizawa, and Okuda, and the university’s director Võ Văn Sen reached a basic agreement on opening “Support Office for Study in Japan “, and both sides signed an agreement.

Accordingly, based on the collaboration with the ongoing “Course for Study in Japan ” at this university, we will prepare for establishing the Support Office, in order that it provide all the information on study in Japan and counseling services, especially to students in the southern Vietnam district including Ho Chi Minh City

Recently, secret maneuvers of study-abroad agents, which charge expensive fees for procedure of travel and school entrance, are featured as a grave issue, among the concerned parties and mass media of the two countries. Now, through the establishment of the [Support Office for Study in Japan], we believe that this social issue, which might prevent sound exchanges between the two countries, be solved.
